Mission Statement

Vision

Wokingham Methodist Church believes that its work is to celebrate the loving activity of God in Jesus Christ and, guided by the Holy Spirit, to share in God’s mission.

Our Mission:

1. We will create worship that honours God and stimulates the minds and warms the hearts of His people.

2. We will show Christ-like pastoral care to all with whom we have contact.

3. We will develop programmes of activities to encourage Christians of all ages to grow in their faith, devotion and understanding.

4. We will discover ways, appropriate to being a town centre church, of responding to the needs of the local community.

5. We will play an active part in the life of the whole Methodist Church and in inter church relationships and initiatives at home and overseas.

6. In what we are and in what we do, we will proclaim the person and the challenges of Jesus Christ.
