4th June (Wednesday)    The Falklands Chapel - conducted tour by the Chaplain followed by a visit to Basildon Park with tea.
1st July    Hearing Dogs for the Deaf       Pat Preston and her King Charles spaniel Harry

             SUBSCRIPTION: Subscription levels were reviewed at the Committee Meeting on 23^rd May. 
Due to an anticipated rise in speakers’ fees we recommend to members that the annual subscription should be raised from £12 to £15. 
Subscription per meeting would increase from £1.50 to £2.00. 
In the past  speakers’ costs have been kept down by drawing on our own members’ talents and we are very grateful for their contribution.
